rachel3Rachel C. Kilpatrick, Founder, Owner and Master Physical Therapist   

Rachel has an extensive background in pilates-based physical therapy and is recognized and respected by physicians across both Los Angeles and Atlanta.  Rachel received her masters degree in physical therapy from Medical College of Georgia. Rachel is a certified pilates instructor and instructs a teacher training program.  She feels pilates helps clients reach new heights as it assists in creating stability through strengthening the core and postural stabilizers keeping injuries at bay. Rachel opened Resolution Therapy in Brentwood in 2004, the Atlanta (Dunwoody) location in 2008, and most recently she opened a third Resolution Therapy in Roswell, GA in 2011.

                                                    Airiel GarciaAirel Garcia, PTA, Co-Owner, Clinical Director 

Airel is the Co-Owner and Clinical Director of Resolution. She studied at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she earned her B.S. in Nutritional Science. She received her Pilates certification at Long Beach Dance Conditioning and holds a Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Cerritos College. Airel has over nine years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and Pilates-based physical therapy. She uses a combination of strength, flexibility, injury prevention, postural awareness education, and hands-on care to transform her patients. Airel manages day-to-day operations and quality control and has been with Resolution since 2007.

Shannon Healy, MSPT Shannon Healy, MSPT 

Shannon Healy is a Performance physical therapist who has a  background in sports performance, functional movement and  Pilates.  She has worked as a PT for the NFL combine, NBA,  Olympics and LPGA.  Shannon received her bachelors degree  from UC Berkeley with a focus in Molecular Cell Biology and a  Masters degree in Physical Therapy from CSULB.  Shannon  combines her manual therapy skills with her sports performance  background to return patients to their prior level of function.  Shannon has been affiliated with Resolution since 2006.

Caroline #3 Dr. Caroline Hsu, DPT  

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA, Caroline moved to New York City to  receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College. During her schooling, Caroline used  Pilates-based physical therapy with dancers from the New York City Ballet as well as students from  the School of American Ballet.  In addition to Pilates, Caroline uses modalities, manual therapy,  and traditional exercises to address all of her patients’ functional limitations.  Caroline also works  at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center as an inpatient physical therapist in their Rehabilitation  Department.

Rose Eiker graduated with her doctorate from USC in Physical Therapy. She has been utilizing pilates-based physical therapy at Resolution now for over a year, and is an invaluable addition to the team. She also works in the UCLA PT department where she sees both orthopedic and acute injuries.

maya Maya Saffrin, Director of Pilates

 Maya is our Director of Pilates and has been at Resolution for 7 years. She was a dancer in NYC for years and studied Pilates in Hollywood many years ago. She is a tough instructor who will make you laugh … and cry. She directs our Pilates staff ensuring that it is the absolute best it can be. She is known for her challenging workouts and her perfect body inspires everyone!

lauraLaura Hartson, Pilates Instructor 

Laura Hartson is a pilates instructor who has been with Resolution since 2006. Her focus on form and clear instruction makes her one of the busiest instructors at Resolution. She has a very calming, clear voice that keeps one focused on the task at hand … that is, looking and feeling great!

toi2Toi Beaman Leal, Master Massage Therapist

 Toi Beaman Leal specializes in deep tissue therapeutic massage. She has such an amazing healing energy about her that one feels as she enters the room! She works with the physical therapist and pilates instructors to meet client’s goals.

lizzyLizzy Rice Connors, Pilates Instructor

 Lizzy has been with us since 2009 and like Yani went through our teacher training program. She quickly built up her clientele at Resolution Therapy and is known for her physical therapy style of teaching. Our physical therapists often refer patients to Lizzy as she is knowledgeable and careful working with those who have injuries.

yaniYanaika Harrigan, Pilates Instructor & Massage Therapist 

Yani is a physical therapist in her home country, Panama.  She is working toward her P.T. license in the states.  She has been certified in our Pilates teacher training program and is one of our most popular instructors.  She has all the knowledge of a P.T. and combines that with her Pilates knowledge to be an excellent member of our team. Yanaika Harrigan is also a massage therapist and uses her physical therapy skills to release muscle pressure and adhesions.  Yani has been with Resolution for over 4 years!

kariKari Larson, Office Manager

 Kari Larson is our front desk office manager. She will greet you with a smile and keep you organized! She is always happy to answer any questions as well as assist you with any billing, insurance, or therapy/fitness questions you may have.

gabpic Gabrielle Santiago, Pilates Instructor

Gabrielle is a certified Pilates instructor through Resolution’s very own Pilates Teacher Training Program. She attended Dr. Phillips Performing Arts High School and has a degree in Dance Entertainment from Florida School of the Arts. Her extensive background in numerous styles of dance has given her the privilege of traveling the world as a performer on Celebrity Cruises. Since moving to Los Angeles from Orlando, Florida to pursue her dance career, Gabrielle has also found a new love for competitive beach volleyball. She is a firm believer that Pilates helps to stretch, strengthen, and prevent future injury.


lernerDr. Fred Lerner, D.C., Ph.D., FACO
Dr. Lerner acts as a mentor and advisor to Resolution Therapy’s Rachel C. Kilpatrick, and he is a knowledgeable resource for all of our physical therapists. Dr. Lerner currently practices in Beverly Hills as well as at the International Sports Science Institute in West Los Angeles. He has held staff privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 1998 and has been in practice since 1980. He works alongside spine surgeons, pain specialists, physiatrists and other health professionals as part of a team approach. He utilizes chiropractic manipulation, myofascial release techniques, exercises, microcurrent stimulation and other procedures, all designed to reduce pain, improve function and restore posture                                                   health.
